Our washable oesophageal feeding tube collars for cats are hand sewn with soft, low-lint cotton fabrics to reduce the risk of fibres adhering to the wound site. The collar holds the feeding tube securely in place, whilst also preventing the cat from scratching at or washing the insertion site, or accidentally removing the tube.

MediMogi collars feature a 4cm buttonhole, loop, and velcro tab to secure the feeding tube. The collar closure is also velcro so can easily be adjusted to fit.

MediMogi collars are all hand-made in the UK, so you don't have to worry about customs fees or tariffs.

Large: 38cm by 8cm, fits necks approx 24cm - 32cm

Medium: 34cm by 8cm, fits necks approx 22cm - 28cm

Small: 30cm by 6cm, fits necks approx 18cm - 24cm

All MediMogi collars are made with cotton or polycotton outers and 100% cotton inners. The wadding is 100% polyester. 

Hand wash cold, or machine wash cold in a laundry bag. Do not wring. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Iron medium, but avoid ironing the velcro areas. Do not dry clean. 

Suw is an experienced sewist who has been making clothing and soft furnishing for herself for years. She is owned by two cats, Copurrnicus, an ex-feral from the mean streets of Cleveland, Ohio, and Grabbity, a globe-trotting tabby who was born in London and has spent half her life in the US before returning to the UK with Copurrnicus in 2022. Grabbity, now nearly 16 years old, has recently had two teeth out and been diagnosed with kidney disease and arthritis, so when a friend asked her to make some feeding tube collars for cats, she realised she had a chance to help other cats. 

Suw lives with her husband and two cats in Reading, Berkshire, and enjoys seeing the many neighbourhood cats who visit her garden.
